A nicely done, if unoriginal, Defender clone.

Screen Shots

Nova Blast is rather weak as a game. The sounds are pretty cool, and it looks nice. But it's too blatant a Defender rip-off - really one of Imagic's more disappointing games, considering the company it keeps. Once you're decent at it, you can play indefinitely. It seems that Imagic's late entries suffered on originality, or failing that, gameplay (see Fathom). Sometimes, the effort to keep gameplay identical on multiple platforms meant clipping the wings of a game.

No, This Is NOT Defender! The firing rate on youre ship's cannon is awesome! Smooth scrolling and well-rendered graphics make the game visually appealing.
