Each game review rates three categories from 1 to 5, with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

The categories are:

  • Graphics
  • Sound
  • Replay Value

The meanings of the numeric ratings are roughly as shown in the following table.

Rating Graphics Sound Replay Value
1 What is that supposed to be? Turn it off! It hurts! Can I have my money back?
2 Oh, that's what that is! Turn it down, please. Oh. That was nice. Got anything else?
3 Hey, it's a tank! Hmm, that's neat. Haven't played this in awhile. Let's try it again.
4 That looks pretty good! Hey, that sounded pretty cool. This is fun! I think I'll go get that game, too!
5 Cool! Can I have T-Shirt with that on it? Where can I buy the soundtrack? I'll lose my job if I don't stop thinking about playing that game!

Of course, this is all arbitrary, and most would argue a complete waste of time. If I offend you by saying a game stinks, or is great, well that's too bad! :-) If you like, drop me a line and we can talk about it!

OK, so I've got such a damned long list of links on the sidebar here that this is really here just to fill up some white space. Well, waddaya know, it's still not full.
