Port of the Atari VCS game of the same name.

Screen Shots |
This is an obvious port of the Atari VCS game–it doesn't add
anything new to exercise the Intellivision. It's an average
game, and pretty easy to play indefinitely (at least on skill
level 1). Your fingers will go numb shooting at the walkers.
Control of your snowspeeder is rather difficult, too. The
box art is cool, though, and hey–it's Star Wars!
Best Score:

It's official! As reported by decle, and
confirmed by Marco: The international version of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
ROM does not play the Star Wars theme music when you reset the game. There's no convenient way to discern
which carts have this ROM in them, as the shell and label have no differences. This
is based on getting an shrink-wrapped copy of the International copy of the game and opening
it. It has the ROM variant in question, and the cartridge looks identical
to all the other copies that have passed through these grimy little hands.
Loose copies in the wild will not be identifiable as ROM variants w/o manual
testing. :(
A total of three Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back manual variants have been documented.
